Meet Dr. Carithers…
I have always known I wanted to help people and am very grateful to be your dentist! In high school I had the opportunity to study nearly all aspects of the medical field and through that came to dentistry. I loved going to the dentist as a child and after learning about dentistry in high school, it sealed the deal. I come from a Community Oral Health background and have no greater professional joy than seeing someone who has not smiled in years look in the mirror, with tears in their eyes, and say “I can smile again”. Working with patients to achieve their goals and get them to a healthy dental state is the highest priority for me. I look forward to getting to know more of Milledgeville and the great people here.

Outside the Office
After growing up in metro Atlanta, I knew I wanted to live in a smaller town with a better sense of community. My husband Corey and I met while we were both in dental school and have lived in Greensboro since we graduated. Our sweet rescue dog, Archie, joined us in 2018 and has been causing the best kind of trouble. I am heavily involved in CrossFit and do a little class coaching at FeroFit Oconee, having competed in several local competitions over the years-I haven’t won one quite yet but have gotten second place. My gym is my extended family and I would not know what to do without them. I met Leigh, Dr. Collins’ wife, at FeroFit and she connected the dots for me to come to Old Capital.
